Case Study: Delaware Highway Greenway Pilot

Results:

The results were transformative: biochar reduced stormwater runoff volumes by 53% and peak flows by 77%. It also improved soil aggregation and water infiltration rates, demonstrating its potential to address runoff and pollution from impervious surfaces.
