Myno’s Lauren Breynaert and Thor Kallestad receiving the award from Commissioner of Public Lands Hilary Franz, Dan Giuliani, and Regan Spencer.

The award was presented by Washington’s Commissioner of Public Lands Hilary Franz, representing Washington’s 6 million acres of public lands from timber to agricultural to aquatic lands. Myno is working with Commissioner Franz and the Washington Department of Natural Resources to procure in-wood slash piles from DNR-managed timberland as a feedstock for biochar production, reducing wildfire risk, improving regional air quality, and supporting carbon sequestration. Myno is proud to receive this award and is committed to leading the transition to a thriving clean, and prosperous economy.
